Abstract:
This paper introduces the counter‑current circulating gradient water‑washing dechlorination process for fly ash. The technology integrates fly ash storage, water washing, water purification, evaporative fractional crystallization, drying and kiln feeding, and tail gas treatment systems.Engineering practices prove the detoxification effect of fly ash water‑washing technology: the chlorine content of detoxified fly ash is controlled within ≤1%, and the generated by‑product sodium chloride and potassium chloride comply with national standards, satisfying the economic concept of “harmless treatment, volume reduction and resource utilization”. It complies with China’s environmental protection policies and requirements for sustainable development. The investment cost of the system and equipment mainly depends on the selection of main equipment, process complexity and automation level. The unit treatment cost of fly ash water washing is approximately 400-800 RMB per ton of ash. The engineering application of the countercurrent circulating gradient water washing system for fly ash demonstrates significant long-term value, economic benefits and social benefits.
